Groups

Groups

Our weekly Groups provide an opportunity for parents to have an enjoyable morning in a small group alongside other families. Groups are kept to a maximum of 10 families per group. We do this to ensure that each family attending has the opportunity to develop friendships within the group among other parents, volunteers and staff.

We offer two groups. Our Baby Group is run on Tuesdays from 10 – 11.45am. This group is for families with a child under one. Our Family Group is run on Wednesdays from 10 – 11.45am. This group is for families with children who are one to pre school age.

Our Baby Group provides a calm environment for you and your child, where you can meet other new parents, make new friends and share experiences, if you wish, over coffee. The babies can learn by exploration through toys and socialising with other babies.

Activities at the Family Group have been developed to aid children’s speech and language, social skills such as turn taking and sharing, physical development such as jumping and catching a ball, fine motor skills such as holding a crayon or using scissors and glue, play skills and more. Family groups provide a safe, structured morning routine of fun and learning for parents and children.

The Nest Group

The Nest (postnatal wellbeing & nurture hub) is our brand new 12-week programme tailored to new or expectant parents who may be feeling overwhelmed or isolated. This program is designed to support you on your journey into parenthood. We will be keeping this group small, a maximum of eight families, to ensure each family attending has the opportunity to develop friendships within the group among other parents, volunteers and staff.

Starting this September, The Nest offers a safe and welcoming space to connect with other new parents, share experiences, and receive emotional and practical support.

Our programme includes:

  • Baby massage and yoga sessions
  • Self-care workshops
  • Expert-led discussions on maternal and infant mental health
  • A supportive community of new parents

The Nest is a place for you to grow, learn, and feel empowered.

Parents can self-refer or be referred by a professional.

If you would are interested in hearing more about our new Nest Group, please send us a message through our contact us page and we will get back in touch.
